From Our President
Last month, we had a great time at our auction, filled with excitement and plenty of quilting goodies. A big thank you goes out to Dana Sederoff and Susan Gerbig for their hard work in planning and coordinating the event. Also, a special thanks to Susan Beard for stepping in at the last minute to help make the evening a success!
Thank you to everyone who took the time to respond to our survey this year. We were pleased to see so many turned in to us and appreciate the suggestions. I've been reaching out to those who expressed interest in discussing their responses further, and if you haven't yet, but would like to talk more, please feel free to let me know by phone or email. Your input is always welcome! As we look ahead, we're preparing for next year and have our officer elections coming up in November. I'll be reaching out to members about available leadership roles, and if you're interested in getting involved, please let me know at this month's meeting.

Just in time for the holidays, the October meeting will be making Christmas ornaments. The presentation will be given by our own Heather Kopeschka. This will be a hands on workshop during the meeting! Heather will present 2 different ornaments with instructions and how to do it. Please bring your favorite holiday fabric with you to the meeting. Heather will show us how to fold and get the ornaments together so all we have to do is finish the sewing at home. Tammie Earnest and Linda Auberry
As we start into September, it's time to begin a brand-new challenge that celebrates what makes each of us unique! This month’s theme is "Novelty Notions."
For this challenge, we invite you to choose a fabric panel or novelty prints that showcase your hobbies or interests. Whether it's a fabric featuring your favorite animals, a nod to your love for gardening, or prints that reflect your passion for travel—let your creativity shine! Your task is to create a project that reflects your personality and passions using these specialty fabrics.
October - Select fall-themed fat quarters and create a project that captures the warmth and richness of the season.
