From Our President
The holiday season is upon us! As the year starts to draw to a close, life is bustling for everyone, and it’s a perfect time to come together and celebrate. I am excited to see your quilts of inspiration this month—it will be a joy to share the ways quilting has impacted our lives.
This meeting will also be a special one, as we’ll hold our election for the new 2025 board. I’ve loved serving as president this past year and am grateful for the creativity and community we’ve built together. Looking ahead, I know that 2025 will bring even more beautiful projects and friendships.

Scrapbasket Trunk Show
There is a person or a quilt that inspired you to start your quilting journey! That is how we each got started. This month we would like to see these special quilts and hear your special stories. You may share a quilt that someone else has made or one you have created. Please bring 1 or 2 quilts to share and inspire your friends!!
Committee Activities
2024 Block of the Month
The Youngster Beelet
This year we will be using Amanda Castor's Circle City Sampler pattern for the Block of the Month.
We will be breaking the pattern up in the same manner as the 2023 Shop Hop. For those of you that bought the kits and haven't broken into them yet, this is your YEAR!!
Each month the blocks that need to be completed will be posted on the website and listed in the newsletter.
Challenges
Tammie Earnest and Linda Auberry
"Thankfulness Table Runner"
For this month, create a Thanksgiving-themed table runner that brings joy and warmth to your home. Feel free to use pre-cut fabrics, panels, or specialty prints that inspire thankfulness and togetherness. This is the perfect chance to add a handmade touch to your holiday table!
We can’t wait to see the beautiful, heartfelt projects you create this month!
Happy quilting!
Cheer
Rhonda Nelson
If you know of any Scrapbasket member needing a little cheer, please let Rhonda Nelson know. She will be happy to send a card from all of us. Thank you.
Donation Quilts
Susan Cinkoske, Lynne Secondino, Linda Cook, Karen Pollard
A big thank you to all who have donated this year! We will be collecting stockings and any final donations for this year. We will NOT be collecting donations in December. The drawing for the $25 gift certificate will be either in December or January. A name will be pulled from all who donated this year. Good luck to you and to Cindy Johnson who will be taking over Donations in 2025!
Quilts of Valor
Just a reminder to bring all finished and unfinished kits to Scrapbasket on Tuesday. If you can’t be there and have something, give me a call and I’ll come get it.
Many thanks and Happy Thanksgiving.
